Information We Collect
When you create an account, we collect your email address and name. When you use FretGlyph, we store your chord diagram projects and preferences. If you purchase a premium subscription, payment information is collected and processed by our secure payment processor — we do not store your full card details.
How We Use Your Information
We use your information to provide and improve the FretGlyph service, process subscription payments, communicate with you about your account, and respond to your support requests. We do not sell your personal information to third parties.
Data Storage and Security
Your project data and account information are stored securely on our servers. We use industry-standard encryption and security measures to protect your data. Subscription records are linked to your account to manage your premium access.
Third-Party Services
FretGlyph uses third-party services for payment processing (Base44 Payments) and authentication. These services have their own privacy policies and data handling practices. We only share the information necessary to provide these services.
Cookies and Local Storage
FretGlyph uses local browser storage to save your projects and preferences on your device. This data stays on your device unless you sign in and use cloud sync (premium feature). We do not use tracking cookies for advertising.
Your Rights
You have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal information. You can delete your account at any time, which will remove your personal data from our systems. If you have a premium subscription, canceling it will stop future billing but you'll keep access until the end of your billing period.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this privacy policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by posting the updated policy on this page. Continued use of FretGlyph after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
